四大研究主軸Four Research Themes

本研究室以「全球環境變遷下的人體健康衝擊與調適」為核心關懷,運用全國 2,300 萬人口之健保就醫與生命統計巨量資料,結合氣象、空氣品質與遙測資料,量化環境暴露與健康風險之關聯,並轉化為可供政府與產業應用的預警系統與調適決策。Our work centers on the human-health impacts of, and adaptation to, global environmental change. We link population-based health-insurance and vital-statistics data for Taiwan’s 23 million residents with meteorological, air-quality and remote-sensing data — quantifying exposure–risk relationships and translating them into early-warning systems and adaptation decisions.

研究聚焦於氣候、空氣品質與公共衛生的交會,探討升溫、空氣污染與極端天氣事件等環境暴露如何形塑人體健康結果。研究主軸有二:其一為傳染病監測與氣候敏感疾病風險,其二為空氣污染物濃度與疾病風險(特別是呼吸道及心血管疾病)之關聯。Working at the intersection of climate, air quality and public health, this research examines how environmental exposures — rising temperatures, air pollution and extreme weather events — shape human health outcomes. It centres on two themes: infectious disease surveillance and climate-sensitive disease risk, and the association between air pollutant concentrations and disease risk, particularly respiratory and cardiovascular diseases.

碩士班研究生Master’s Students

透過環工系或永續環境與能源國際碩士學程申請,參與真實的氣候健康研究計畫。Apply through Environmental Engineering or the International Master’s Program in Sustainable Environment & Energy, and join real climate-health projects.

博士班研究生PhD Students

主導跨國研究主題,發表於國際期刊,與美、歐、亞太機構共同工作。國際申請者優先。Lead an international research theme, publish in indexed journals, and work with partners across the US, Europe and Asia-Pacific. International applicants prioritized.

專案研究助理Project Assistants

參與政府與國際合作計畫,負責資料分析、空品與健康資料處理、平台維運。Support government and international projects — data analysis, air-quality and health data processing, and platform operations.
